HUMANAL

Mixed Media: sculpture, installation, animation, drawing

Humanal project explores similarities between humans and animals.
Humanal comes from a fusion between both words, human
and animal. There is no difference between wild animals
and humans biologically speaking, the difference is that Humans
are those that create and build their own culture.
Therefore humanal talks about what makes us closer to them
in actions and/or behaviors. Humans sometimes eat, act, walk,
yawn, and fight like Animals, among many other actions; actions
that are very ordinary in human behavior, things that
we can notice with the human eye.
My intention is to represent and reconcile animality and humanity
by creating awareness of our roots.
